Vivienne Tam (譚燕玉, pinyin: Tán Yànyù) is a fashion designer that is now based in New York. She was born in Guangzhou, China in 1957 but was raised in Hong Kong. She attended school at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Her clothing brand is named after her and is inspired by Chinese design and modern fashion. The theme of her first collection was called East Wind Code. Her boutiques can now be found in most major cities around the world.
She authored China Chic, a book on Chinese style. Vivienne Tam also appears on Stardoll.com where she has her own suite and brand name.
Her collection is mostly of Eastern inspiration with modern edge sensibilities. In Hong Kong, her boutique can be found at the Pacific Place.
